Purchased by the Library Committee from Clive Francis in July 2016.
Created by the three designers, know as the Motley's: sisters, Sophie and Margaret Harris (known as "Percy") and Elizabeth Montgomery Wilmot, who designed all of Gielgud's productions that season. The picture is signed by the whole company including: John Gielgud, Peggy Ashcroft, Alec Guinness, Michael Redgrave, Gwen Ffrangcon-Davies, Harry Andrews, George Devine, Richard Ainley, Angela Baddeley etc.
