This photographic postcard depicts three characters from the play 'Quo Vadis'. One of the characters in this play is Tigellinus, as well as Nero and Poppeo. The play was based on the novel 'Quo Vadis: a narrative in the time of Nero' by Henryk Sienckiewicz, and was performed in Britain at the Adelphi Theatre in 1900.
