This photographic postcard depicts the actor Seymour Hicks in military uniform in the character of Valentine Brown from the play 'Quality Street'. The play was written by J.M. Barrie, and opened at the Vaudevill theate in 1902 with Seymour Hicks, Ellaline Terriss, Mario Terry, in the lead roles.
