A bust of Shakespeare in profile looking to right, carved into transparent glass. Shakespeare has a ponted nose, a fine ruff and smart doublet. To the right can be seen a lyre and dagger, with s sprig of laurel to left and pipes and a mask below. The intaglio is sophiticated and accomplished.
