Photocopy of a letter by David Garrick to John Gilbert Cooper, 19 November 1752. The letter is transcribed in Little and Kahrl, 'The Letters of David Garrick' (1963), number 55, where it is ascribed the year [1748]. The source of the letter is given as Arthur A. Houghton Jr. The source of this photocopy is unknown and the presence of a clear date unknown to Little & Kahrl remains to be explained.
