'June 28th, 1815 / Sir / I understand you did me the favor of call at Mr. Cawthorn's on Monday. I suppose you wish to know if I had any drawings ready for you. I have only one, of Miss Kelly in the Woodman's Hut which I flatter myself will meet with your approbation as has with many. I should have calld at your house with it a long time back but not hearing from you since I left the drawing of Mr Dowtan I concluded you were out of town. // I have not been able to make any more it being the Benefit season with the actors &c / If you will have the ?? to let me know what day will be agreeable I will meet you at Mr Cawthorn and I hope I shall be able to shew you a drawing. As affluence of artists are not synonymous terms I beg leave to subjoin my little account &c. / I remain your VHS / ... / Viz.
