'Dear Madam / I have with infinite pleasure been inform'd by letter from Patty that you are seen for ever yet for ever new. Nay actually increas'd in person, perfection and attraction. And so says Mr. Wilson and he tells me that Lady Milner is charm'd with you and your understanding. None will suggest I am going to trouble you for some favor, and that is true, but it is very easy to grant - I wish to know by return whether your new comedy will be publish'd & when? And if not why I will not take up your time to write, by not hearing I shall take it for granted // it is not intended this season for the press.
