Kensington / Sunday / Dear Lil ...'. - Miss Caffin worked in London making costumes for the theatre; the letter includes sketches for head-dresses for characters (for Miss G. Ward and Miss Olga Nethersole in a production of 'King Arthur' at the Lyceum to designs by Burne Jones; and she refers further to Ellen Terry and her gift of one of the beetle's wings from her costume of Lady Macbeth.
