Menu printed on silk for the 'Grand Banquet for the Right Hon. the Earl of Derby, K.G. and Her majesty's Ministers' at the free Trade Hall, Manchester, October 17th 1863. The menu is printed in blue on cream silk, timmed with gold metal fringe and backed by blue velvet.
Edward Smith Stanley, 14th Earl of Derby (1799-1869) was the Prime Minister at the time of the banquet.
