Scope and content
Prompt copy with the original edition of the play, 'Rory O'More' by Samuel Lover, interleaved with full stage directions for the production added in manuscript. Possibly in the hand of Frederick Webster, brother of Ben Webster manager of the Adelphi Theatre
'Rory O' More' was first performed at the Adelphi Theatre on 29 September 1837. The additional cast list suggests that this prompt copy is for a revival there in 1848.
