Scope and content
Playbill for a performance at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket, 5 October 1824. The first piece was 'The Hypocrite', follwed by 'Killing no murder' and 'Paul and Virginia'. The playbill is undated, but on the reverse side is a playbill for the Theatre Royal, English Opera House (Lyceum Theatre) with 'The marriage of Figaro', followed by 'The Scottish minstrel' and 'Gordon the Gypsey'. This performance was a benefit for Mr Broadhurst with the manuscript date 5 October 1824.
