Playbill giiving advance notice for a performance at the Theatre Royal, Richmond upon Thames, 12 September 1796. The first piece was 'Love for Love' with Mrs Jordan as Miss Prue, followed by 'The devil to pay' with Mrs Jordan as Miss Hoyden and 'The spoil'd child' with Mrs Jordan as nell. The performance was a benefit for Mr. Haymes but the bill records that 'Mrs. Jordan Has kindly offered her Assistance to Perform for his Benefit ... Being positively the last Time of her Performing here this Season'.
