Framed fascimile of the Equity declaration known as the 'Roll of Honour', signed in 1934 by West End stars at a dinner hosted by Marie Tempest at the Savoy Hotel.
The declaration at the top reads: 'We the undersigned, hereby pledge ourselves that we will not enter into any engagements with Theatre Managers on conditions that would deny our right to refuse to work with non-members of Equity'.
The declaration is followed by the signatures of 86 Equity members, beginning with Marie Tempest.
The note below the facsimile of the declaration explains that 'It was in support of the decision in a ballot by Equity members to introduce a closed shop in the West End'.
This is number 58 of a limited edition of 500 copies published by Equity in 2005.
