Biography
Buchel was an artist of German origin. He painted and drew primarily theatrical personalities and worked for a number of years for Herbert Beerbohm Tree. He exhibited seven paintings at the Royal Academy between 1898-1902, including one of Beerbohm Tree as ‘Herod, King of the Jews.’
