Biography
Priscilla Horton, later Mrs. Thomas German Reed, was an English actor and singer. She was best known for playing Ariel in W.C. Macready's production of the Tempest (see prints held at the V&A and National Portrait Gallery). With her husband, she established German Reed Entertainments in 1855, producing family-friendly entertainment.
