Biography
Theatre photographer in London. French photographer and inventor Adolphe Beau came to London in the aftermath of the 1851 Great Exhibition and entered into a brief partnership with Camille Silvy before setting up his own London studio, specialising in theatrical portraits. He photographed the French Imperial family in exile.
