Biography
Carlotta Leclercq was an actress daughter of Charles Clark (1796-1861), a pantomist and ballet master known as Leclercq. Her sisters Rose and Louise also followed a theatrical career, as did their three brothers, Arthur, Charles and Pierre. Carlotta was connected with the Princess’s Theatre in Kean’s time, and married the actor John Nelson.
