Biography
Alexander Ivanovich Yuzhin was the stage name of the Georgian Prince Sumbatov, who was one of the main performers at the Maly Theatre in Moscow in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was best known for playing the Romantic parts in dramas by Friedrich Schiller and Victor Hugo but also wrote a number of plays.
