Biography
Clive Burt was born on 11 June 1900. Educated at Eton and Oxford, he was called to the Bar, Gray’s Inn, in 1925, and became QC in 1954. He served in the Second World War and received the Croix de Guerre. He was chairman of the Performing Rights Tribunal, 1957-58. In March 1951 he became a member of the Garrick Club. Burt died on 30 September 1981.
