Biography
Pierre Corneille was a French dramatist. Amongst his works translated into English are: "Le Cid", translated by Joseph Rutter, 1637; "Pompeé" by Katherine Phillips, 1663; "Heraclius" by Ludowick Carlell, 1664 and "Nicoméde" by John Dancer, 1671.
