Kindly donated to the Garrick Club by Paul Abrahams. The table formerly belonged to Harold Abrahams, the great uncle of Paul Abrahams CBE and Olympic sprint champion 1924, who was famously portrayed in the film Chariots of Fire.
Victorian mahogany hall table with chess board inlaid on the top. It has bobbin turned supports and turned stretchers.
