Engraving history
James Parker after Edward Burney for the Manley Wood edition of Shakespeare printed for George Kearsley 31 March 1804, line 8.1x7.7 (f.l. scene with Prince Arthur)
De Wilde's drawing of Barrymore's head, with his hand to his chin, is clearly a sketch prepared for Burney; Barrymore's name is printed over the top of the illustration. Most of the illustrations in the Manley Wood edition are of imaginary subjects.
