Sketch by Violet Manners, of the opening night of King Lear at the Lyceum Theatre 1892. Irving as Lear and Ellen Terry as Cordelia. Sketch depicts eight vingnettes showing the following scenes from the play: Act IV, Scene VIII; Act III, Scene II; Act V, Scene III; Act IV, scene VII, Act V, Scene III and Act V, scene III. Sketches were made for the Pall Mall Gazette.
