This is a cartoon of a scene from Hedda Gabler, with Garrett Keogh as Jorgen Tesman and Fiona Shaw as Hedda Tesman when it was performed at the Playhouse Theatre from 28 August to 5 October 1991.
The drawing was featured in Punch Magazine issue: 11 September 1991 and drawn by William (Bill) Hewison who was Art Editor and created multiple theatre cartoons for Punch magazine.
Hedda Gabler is a play written by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen. The world premiere was staged on 31 January 1891 at the Residenztheater in Munich.
