Triple portrait of three contemporary actor members of the Garrick club: Damian Lewis, Benedict Cumberbatch and Mathew McFadyen. They are depicted in the Garrick club's library towards the far end near the fireplace. Benedict Cumberbatch is depicted standing against the mantlpiece, while the other two are seated. The central picture on the wall above the fireplace is 'The Clandestine Marriage', of 1818 by George Clint, whse figures echo the poses of the contemporary sitters. This painting is usually displayed in the Coffee Room. The artist has chosen to include some small nods to the sitters' careers, and previous roles.
