This print depicts Edmund Kean as Richard III. He is shown full length, face slightly turned to the left. He has one arm resting on a pillar and one on his hip. He wears a doublet with slashed sleeves and matching puffed trousers, white stockings and boots with the tops turned down. Around him is a sash and the order of the garter. He also has a sword by his side. On his head he wears a red velvet hat with a blue trim and a black feather. Published c.1838 for John Fairburn's 100 Minories.
