Print of Mary Ann Davenport as Mrs Grundy from Thomas Morton's 1798 comedy 'Speed the Plough'. Davenport is shown in half length, wearing a white bodice strapped at the chest, fingerless gloves and a cap tied under her chin. She looks to the side with a worrisome expression.
