Print of David Garrick as Tancred from James Thomson's 1745 tragedy,' Tancred and Sigismunda'. He is shown half-length, wearing a long-sleeved tunic with fastenings, a fur shako cap and fur-lined cloak hanging on his left shoulder. The play was first performed at Drury Lane on 18 March 1745. Painted, etched & sold by Thomas Worlidge at his house in the little Piazza Covent Garden.
