This print depicts the comedian John Liston in the character of Caper from the play 'Who Wins; or the Widow's Choice' by John Till Allingham. Liston is depicted whole length, left foor slightly forward, right hand has thumb and forefinger together, while the left hand rests on his hop holding his hat.
