This print depicts the most famous characters played by the comedian John Liston, seated or standing around a table withing a tavern. On the left stands John List as Sam Swipes, to his right stands Liston as Billy Lackaday. At the tabel from left are seated: Moll Flaggon, Tristram Sappy (possibly), and Lubin Log. At the Head of the table sits Paul Pry and to his right is the character of Grojan. On the wall is a framed picture of a man preaching from a pulpit, which is a refference to the character of Mawworm.
