This print depicts the comedian John Liston in the character of Adam Brock, a good natured farmer in the historical play 'Charles XII' by James Robinson Planche. He is shown full length facing his right, arms outstreteched. He wears a blue breeches, with pink garter ribbons, and a yellow waistcoat, and a brown coat. On his head is a bicorn hat.
