This print depicts the comedian John Liston as Moll Flaggon, in John Burgoyne's comic opera 'Lord of the Manor'. The print shows Liston full length, wearing a soldier's jacket, a cap on his head, and a skirt with a chquered apron and a large pocket with a bottle poking out. He raises one arm outstretched which contains a clay pipe, the other arm is on his hip. This print is very likely after a drawing by E. F. Lambert, which in other prints is accompanied by the line: "Brandy be my poison! but I like the looks of him. Here, my heart, take a whiff".
