This is a print depicts tthe actor John Liston in the role of Figaro in Mozart's 'The Marriage of Figaro'. He is shown full length, his feet apart in a defiant stance. He has one hand raised with his index finger pointing upwards and the other is clenched in a fist. He wears what appears to be a matador's out fit: short jacket, embroidered waistcoat, stockings with ribbons along the sides.
