Vandenhoff is depicted full length and standing in a house interor with a brocade curtain on the left, decorative fresco behind her and wooden chair to her right. She wears a satin floor-length dress with embellishments, embroidered trim and open sleeves. Her hair is in ringlets, her left hand rests on the chair and she looks slightly off to the side.
