This print depicts the actor John Emery in his role as Tyke in 'School of Reform' by Thomas Morton. This print has been cropped so that it has lost, the publisher and artist's information. The print is after Samuel de Wilde, made by Richard Woodman II, and published by John Mathews, there is an example in the British Museum print collection. Emery is depicted half length, leaning to the left as if away from something. He wears a jacket, striped waistcoat, white shirt and neckerchief. His right hand is slightly raised.
