This print depicts the actor Thomas Weston, possibly as Billy Button in Samuel Foote's play 'The Maid of Bath'. His head and shoulders are depicted within an oval frame. He looks to the left, and wears a jacket, waistcoat, white cravat and a white wig. On his face he has many wars, or spots. For a painting of Mr Weston in this character but turned to the right see G0838.
