This print depicts the head and shoulders of the poet Robert Southey. He is turned to the right, he wears a dark fur trimmed smoking jacket, a white high collared shirt, an eye glass hangs round his neck on a ribbon. This was an illustration in Finden's 'Life and works of Lord Byron'.
