This print depicts the actor Mr Elliston in the role of Rochester, in the play 'Rochester; or King Charles the second's merry days'. He is depicted full length, legs apart with the left slightly bent as if moving towards the left. He wears a long jacket, waistcoat, striped breeches, stockings with ribbons. His head sports a wig, and a tri corn hat with a feather in it. In his left hand his appears to be holding a vile, and his left hand points to it.
