Coloured print depicting actress and contralto opera singer Lucia Elizabeth Vestris as Belinda in 'The Rape of the Lock'. Princess Victoria saw the play at the Olympic Theatre on 6 April 1837, two months before she would be Queen, and drew this from memory. Vestris is depicted full length and seated on a chair facing the left. She wears a long pink and white striped dress with pink bows on the sleeves and a pink bow in her hair. She holds a guitar in her left hand and plays it with her right hand.
