Engraved by Joseph Brown from an original alto-relievo marble sculpture of Faucit by Joan Hughes, of Dublin, and designed by the Irish artist John Henry Foley. Faucit is depicted in a classical style, full-length and seated on a chair facing the right. She wears long white dress with draped cloth over her left shoulder.
