This photographic postcard depicts Irene Vanbrugh in Arthur Wing Pinero's play, 'His House in Order'. It was first performed at St James' Theatre in 1906, and was very successful. It ran for 430 performances and and took £78,000 at the Box office. Irene Vanbrugh is depicted full length in a qhite skirt and blouse, holding the ribbon of a hat in her hands.
