This photographic postcard depicts the actor manager Fred Terry and his wife, the actress Julia Neilson, in the play 'Henry of Navarre' by William Deverreux. It was first performed at the New Theatre in 1909. Fred Terry and Julia Neilson became known for their sumptuous historical dramas. The postcard depicts Fred Terry half seated on a bench looking up at Julia Neilson, who looks down at hom from behind the back of the bench.
