This photographic coloured postcard depicts Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree. He is depicted with one knee raised, and one hand on his hip. The other hand rests near his head with a cigar between the fingers. He is shown in the character of Izidore Izard, in the play 'Buisiness is Buisiness' an adaptation of Octave Mirbeau's 'Les Affaires sont les affaires'. It was performed by Tree' company at His Majesty's Theatre in the 1904/1905 season.
