This photographic coloured postcard depicts Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree. He is shown in the character of Fagin from Charles Dickens' 'Oliver Twist', which Tree produced in 1905. He is depicted half seated on a table, in dishevellied clothes, one hand twirling his beard.
