This is photographic postcard, depicts the actor Lionel Brough as the well intentioned but bumbling Verges in 'Much ado about Nothing'. He is shown full length, wearing tudor costume, and leaning on a large staff. Brough played the character in Herbert Beerbohm Tree's 1906 production of the Shakespearian play.
