This is photographic postcard, depicts the French actress and manager, Sarah Bernhardt. She is shown full length, wearing a richly embroidered dress, holding what may be a mask in on hand. She wears flowers in her hair. In 1905 she starred as Tisbe in Victor Hugo's 'Angelo, The Tyrant of Padua'.
