Black and white photograph of Christopher Robin Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh toy bear. Taken in March 1928 by Marcus Adams. There is a sticker on the reverse which shows the photograph was printed by the Picture Library of the National Portrait Gallery, and contains a reference number, address, and details of sitter, date, photographer and collection number: NPG x36163. There is a spelling mistake on the photographer's name, should be Marcus Adams, not 'March Adams'. This is one of two copies, see PH1511.
