This is cabinet card depicts a woman in Edwardian dress. She weas a checked jacket with a dark high-necked blouse. She wears her hair up with a hat with flowers, which ties under her chin. She is possibly holding some fern leaves. This possibly is a photograph of the actress Kate Roke.
Below is an inscription in black ink: "M.C./ march 1888"
The photograph is by Mr Barraud, of 263 Oxford Street.
