Cabinet card depicting Irish actor and playwright Dion Boucicault as Conn in 'The Shaughraun', which he wrote and was first performed on 14 February 1874. Boucicault is depicted full-length, standing against a big rock, he wears a double-breasted jacket, with trousers, boots, long socks, shirt, hat and a rifle that sticks out from behind his back.
