Photographic postcard depicting the Mrs. Siddons Memorial at Paddington Green. It is a white marble statue sculpted by Léon-Joseph Chavalliaud and unveiled in 1897.

The reverse has a message addressed to Miss R Batchelor, Spital Farm, Buckinghamshire. It is postmarked 1915.

The sculpture is based on the Sir Joshua Reynolds' painting 'Mrs Siddons as the Tragic Muse', showing her seated in classical costume with a dagger and mask. This is also the first outdoor statue in London of a non-royal woman, erected through public subscription.
